A Million Women Before Us - 50th Anniversary Celebration

CWEALF has a long tradition of celebrating women who make a difference in the lives of women and girls in Connecticut. This year, not only is CWEALF honoring women who have made tremendous contributions to our state, we’re celebrating our 50th anniversary!

Use the black registration button above to purchase your tickets! Our celebration includes food stations with small plates and each ticket purchase comes with 2 drink tickets. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate CWEALF’s future and this year’s honoree.

Location: The Yale Science Building is located at 260 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511.

Parking: Parking is available in the lot at the Yale Science Building. The entrance to the parking lot is on Whitney Avenue. There is also street parking available.

CWEALF honors Dr. Khalilah L. Brown-Dean with the first Constance Baker Motley Award for her dedication to promoting greater civic engagement and representation for marginalized and under-resourced communities.
