CWEALF's programs are designed to help women and girls achieve equal opportunities in their personal and professional lives. To achieve our mission, CWEALF's programs are concentrated in three primary areas:
Through these initiatives CWEALF seeks to ensure that women have the tools and resources to successfully navigate legal and social service systems, while simultaneously advocating for systemic change to ensure that these services work to benefit women and low income people.
CWEALF is the only women's agency in Connecticut that provides individual client services while conducting research and public policy work on issues affecting women and their families. Given the agency's experience at both the micro and macro level, CWEALF brings a unique perspective to public policy debates that affect women and girls in Connecticut.
