G2O: Generating Girls Opportunities
G2O is CWEALF's latest initiative designed to engaging girls, parents, and teachers in girls' educational opportunities. G2O is designed to:
- engage girls, parents and teachers in girls' educational opportunities
- provide programming to encourage girls' enrollment in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) in high school and beyond
- share resources to help guide girls to informed decisions about their educational paths
Through G2O girls, parents and educators can find resources, activities and events that support girls and STEM.
CWEALF will continue to plan STEM Expos under G2O. Each one-day Expo is held at a local college or university. The Expos consist of workshops and team-building exercises led by women in STEM careers.
